Pharmacological action

Neomycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic isolated from cultures of Streptomyces fradiae.91 The mechanism of action involves inhibition of protein synthesis by binding to the 30S subunit of the bacterial ribosome, leading to misreading of the genetic code; neomycin may also inhibit the bacterial DNA polymerase.

Indication:

This product is an antibiotics drug that mainly for severe E. coli disease and salmonellosis caused by enteritis, arthritis embolism, for Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Clostridium perfringens and Riemerella anatipestifer infection caused by infectious pulp Membranitis also has a very good therapeutic effect.

Administraiton and Dosage:

Mix with water,

Calves, goats and sheep: 20mg of this product per kg of body weight for 3-5 days.

Poultry , swine:

300g per 2000 liters of drinking water for 3-5 days.

Note: for pre-ruminant calves, lambs and kids only.

Adverse reactions  

neomycin is the most toxic in aminoglycosides, but rarely occurs in oral or local administration.

Precautions

(1) laying period is forbidden.

(2) This product can affect the absorption of vitamin A and vitamin B12.

Storage: Keep sealed and avoid light.
