Pharmacological action
Tylosin acts bacteriostatically It inhibitsprotein synthesis of susceptible microorganisms by binding to sub-units of the50-S ribosome and by inhibition of thetrans-location step. Tylosin has a wide spectrum of activity against Gram-positive bacteria includingStaphylococcus , Streptococcus ,Corynebacterium , anderysipelothrix Ithas a much narrower Gram-negativespectrum of activity , but has been shownto be active against Campylobacter coli ,and certain spirochaetes . It has also be shown to be extremely active against Mycoplasma species isolated from bothmammalian and avian hostsOxytetracycline is broad-spectrumantibacterial medicine , sensitive to rickettsia mycoplasma , chlamydia , Spirochaeta. Other such as actinomycetes , bacillusanthracis , monocytosis listeria , clostridium , lave card bacteria genera, vibrio, Gibraltar.campylobacter, also has good effect on them.
Indication:Broad-spectrum antibacterial medicinemainly use for the treatment ofStaphylococcus aureus, Streptococcusstreptococcus, Cpyogenes, rickettsiosismycoplasma, Chlamydia, Spirochaeta.
Administration and Dosage:
Intramuscular injection:
cattle, sheep,0.15ml/kg of body weight. Injection again after 48 hours if necessary.
