Indication
Poultry
This product is indicated for prevention and treatment of mycoplasmosis (Mycoplasma gallisepticum, M. Synoviae and other Mycoplasnaspecies) and diseases associated with clostridium perfringens(enteritis resulting in wet littler syndrome and cholangiohepatitis) in chickens, replacement pullets and turkeys. It is also indicated for prevention and treatment of mycoplasmosis (mycoplasmagallisepticum) in pheasants. Additionally it has activity against ornithobacterium rhinotracheale(ORT) of poulty
Dosage and administration
Treatment and prevention of chronic respiratory disease(CRD) caused by mycoplasma gallisepticum( Mg). Mycoplasma synoviae(MS)
As a therapeutic treatment of CRD use in water at 20-25 mg activity/kg bw for 3days, normally achieved by dissolving one sachet per 200 liters ofdrinking water
To prevent clinical signs of CRD in mycoplasma positive birds use in water at20-25 mg activity/kg for first 3 days of life. This may be followed by 10-15 mg activitylkg bw for 3-4 days( normally one sachet per 400 liters)during times of stress such as vaccination, change of feed and/or for 3-4 days each month
Treatment and prevention of disease associated with to Clostridium perfringens
To prevent clinical signs use 25 mg activity/kg bw for 3-4 days for the first 3days of life followed by 10-15 mg activity/kg bw for 3-4 days starting 2 days before the expected outbreak. For treatment use 25mg/kg bw for 3-4 days.
Storage: Keep sealed and avoid humidity.
